Aw Spring! As Alfred Lord Tennyson said this is the time "when a
young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love". For those of us at the Trumpet Call it is a time when our thoughts turn anew to the many blessings we have in this country. We live in a great nation that was founded on Christian beliefs and principles. Therefore, we are ever watchful for ways to help our readers understand some of the tactics used by those wishing to use the Word of God against us as you will see in Doug Anderson's article. We also look to inform you of those things that you may not be aware of that would be a threat to our children and our parental rights in the UNCRC article.
We hope many of you were able to attend the 100th anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC this year between March 27th and April 11th. Also, we hope you fly your flag as our country observes National Flag Day on June 14th. This is an annual
tribute to the American flag, the ideals it stands for and the sacrifices
made to preserve them. Long may she wave.
